Throughout the development of this project, I have predominantly followed the guidance provided by my instructor in Game Design 1. Consequently, the project may exhibit moments of disjointedness. Several ideas had to be discarded due to time constraints and the limitations of my own expertise, which hindered the full realization of my envisioned outcome. As a result, meticulous planning was lacking, and the project was crafted in an improvisational manner. Nevertheless, I perceive the final product as a concise and illustrative game, showcasing elements I've learned during the course.

Should I revisit this project post-graduation, I aim to augment its features and rectify existing bugs. Notably, in the concluding level, an intended post-processing volume beyond the gates was intended to desaturate the visuals significantly and augment contrast to evoke a dark and eerie ambiance. However, during consecutive playthroughs from start to finish, this effect inexplicably fails to trigger, although it operates as intended when the level is accessed individually. My intended addition of a trigger to summon a huge duck in the sky accompanied by text conveying a sense of entrapment was sidelined due to the malfunctioning post-processing volume and running out of time. I had intended the text to say something like,  "You fool! Did you really think you could escape us that easily. You will be here for all eternity!"

Regrettably, the implementation of this additional feature was impeded by the existing settings within the level's global post-processing volume. The saturation settings were considerably heightened making everything bright and colorful. This posed a significant contrast to the intended dark and foreboding atmosphere post exiting the gate. This incongruity deterred the integration of the proposed modifications, as they would have clashed with the established ambiance, detracting from the intended immersive experience.
